I'm Joslyn Davis and today I have a little something special for those of you who are obsessed with the latest trends in hair styling. So, you may be wondering how Kristin Stewart went from rock n roll mullet, for her role as Joan Jett, BACK TO Bella beauty on the set of Eclipse. Of course there's really only one possibility, and that's that K-stew is wearing a WIG. Yes, I know wigs are sometimes set aside for the grandma crowd, but truth be told, A LOT of your favorite celebs enjoy having fun with hairpieces. Jessica Simpson even developed an entire line of faux hair, along with the help of her hairstylist Ken Paves. We're talking fake ponytails, fake bangs, and even full-on extensions. So, let's really breakdown Kristin's incredible wig. How believable are the new locks? Well, judging from pictures of her real hair in New Moon held up again the wig in Eclipse, THEY ARE PRETTY CLOSE. But of course some nay-sayers complain that the new hair is a bit too poofy on top, and that the roots aren't blended in well enough. The critics say these factors make her forehead look too square. But, what do you guys think? Can you even tell the difference? Or does this really not even matter at all? I can hardly imagine that a new wig could stop fans from heading out to see Eclipse.... And let's just say that these two ladies not only star in the movie as true rock stars, but they also dominated the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere. Let's start with Kristen. Definitely a bit more girly and fun than we're used to seeing her dress. She chose a vibrant little number with sexy sheer sections, made by Doo Ri. The black peep-toe heels, dark nails and simple jewelry in the form of rings, were right up Stewart's style ally. A simple half-pulled-back do and fresh makeup topped off the look. Over on the other end, The Runaways co-star Dakota Fanning wore a black Valentino short dress, adorned with tons of sequins. Sheer must have been the trend of the night because Fanning's dress also had a sexy see-thru area, giving the dress a strapless illusion. The full skirt got paired with some black pumps and her hair featured a deep middle part and again, fresh makeup. I think these ladies looked lovely and it's pretty cool that they didn't play into the ultra rock and roll theme of the movie like expected.
